At 3 Orchard By-The-Park, nestled in the ultra-luxury residential pocket bordering the Orchard Road shopping belt, SuMisura set out to challenge the standard conventions of high-rise layouts. By introducing heavily layered, richly textured Italian marbles and sophisticated fabrics, our design team successfully reinterprets the traditional structural features of a luxury apartment, converting it into a fluid, multi-dimensional sanctuary optimized for the modern era.
Expanded Open-Plan Living: Sculpting the Illusion of Space
The interior design framework instantly exudes an elevated sense of spaciousness by deploying a true open-plan living and dining concept. We intentionally dismantled visual barriers between the primary entertainment zones, allowing natural light to wash deeply into the home’s footprint.
The main lounge area is meticulously styled using premium furniture collections from Ralph Lauren Home and Eichholtz. These curated pieces infuse a classic, old-world heritage into the sleek, modern architecture, striking an elegant balance between comfortable residential intimacy and stately hosting grandeur.
The Culinary Theater: The Open Gourmet Dry Kitchen
One of the most definitive structural enhancements in this residence is the complete opening up of the dry gourmet kitchen. Rather than treating it as a purely utilitarian backroom, we expressed it proudly as a stunning, high-gloss architectural backdrop that services the main dining zone.
Framed by this sleek, reflective kitchen facade stands the dining room's spectacular centerpiece: an organically shaped dining table custom-crafted from a single, continuous slab of premium cut marble. Designed to comfortably accommodate an 8-seater arrangement, this sculptural focal point bridges culinary functionality with fine art, making the open-plan dining space the ultimate venue for curated culinary experiences.
