The Commodore
The Commodore
Designed as an upscale development in the growing residential neighbourhood at Canberra, the developer set a high benchmark after the inspiration for its name – the stature of Commodore.
Superintendent, the highest-ranking naval officer in the colonial era. The project’s overall design concept and aesthetic choices reflect the sense of prestige and sophistication that characterised high-ranking British naval officers at the time.
The sales gallery encompasses this prestige and sophistication in its materials and dark colour scheme, also used for the exterior of the development to reflect architectural prestige and mature design.
Different marbles come together on the flooring to create interesting patterns on the floor, reminiscent of the naturally undulating terrain of the site and terraced landscape design. The featured curtain walling is also reflected on the feature walls and fins walls that create a dramatic visual effect, drawing attention and making a strong impression on visitors.
